Message	Most oils have additives (detergents primarily but other compounds as well) which are not bio-degradable and are toxic. So while this oil may meet SAE standards for an SM 5w30 oil, I doubt it has any additives (which are beneficial for our cars). Also remember that while this oil may be bio-degradable, after 3,000 miles in our engines, it'll have plenty of hydrocarbons in it and chemicals which are not.
